Thank you for visiting this site. My wife Laura is a great cook.  She loves to do it and I love to eat it.  Consequently that relegates me to doing the dishes. On dozens of occasions as I mindlessly performed this mundane task, I would get splashed by water coming out of the faucet and deflecting off the item I was washing.  This of course resulted in a big wet spot on the front of my pants, resulting in some smart alecky comment from my lovely wife.

I then searched the internet and could not find a similar item, certainly not for under $10.  I then decided with Laura to develop The Spalsh-Dash.  I investigated various materials and discovered that the plastic that worked best was the same  used in the manufacture of cutting boards.  Voila!  Two great products for the price of one.  We went through many size and thicknesses to find the right combination that you experience in the current version.  It is now second nature when I do the dishes I automatically slide up The Splash-Dash and slide it back down when I am done.  When I have a quick cutting board need I lift the tabs on the suction cups, cleanse the board, and begin cutting.  This also works well in the RV and on the boat to cut bait.  Moisten the suction cups and it will stick to almost any nonporous service. 

So many uses-all for under $10 bucks!
